Christina Hermes Atelier ("we", "us", "our") operates christinahermes.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Contact details — your name and email address when you write to us, subscribe to our seasonal letter, or place an order.
Order and shipping information — the address you ask us to ship to and the items you ordered.
Correspondence — the content of any messages you send us.

Information collected automatically

Log data — your IP address, browser type, referring page, and time of visit. This is standard web-server logging.
Cookies — small text files used to remember preferences. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.
Analytics — aggregate, non-identifying counts of page views so we can understand which posts our readers enjoy.

3. How we use your information

To fulfill and ship your order.
To respond to questions and provide customer support.
To send you the seasonal newsletter you subscribed to (no more than four emails a year).
To improve the Site and understand which content is useful.
To comply with legal obligations (tax records, for example).

4. Legal bases (for readers in the EEA and UK)

We rely on: your consent for the newsletter and non-essential cookies; the performance of a contract to process your orders; our legitimate interest in running a small business and improving our service; and legal obligation where required by law.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the small number of service providers that help us run the business:

Payment processors (to process your card securely — we never see the full card number).
Shipping carriers (to deliver your order).
Email service providers (to send the newsletter you opted into).
Hosting and analytics providers (to keep the Site running).
Government authorities when required by law.

6. Data retention

We keep order records for seven years to satisfy U.S. tax law. Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe. Contact-form messages are kept for two years and then deleted. Server logs are kept for 30 days.

7. Your rights

You can, at any time:

Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
Ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
Ask us to delete it (unless we are required to keep it, e.g. for tax).
Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link at the bottom of every email.
Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
If you live in California, exercise your rights under the CCPA/CPRA by writing to us.
If you live in the EEA or UK, lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, write to admin@christinahermes.com. We reply within 30 days.

8. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have, please write to us and we will delete it.

9. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Payment information is handled by PCI-compliant processors. We limit staff access to personal data to Tariq and the two apprentices, all of whom are bound by a written confidentiality agreement.

10. International transfers

Our servers and service providers are primarily in the United States. If you are visiting from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred here.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will note them at the top of this page and, when appropriate, tell you by email.
