Rates, timing and packaging — everything you need to know before you order.
We ship every order from our Oakland studio, most within 3 business days of receiving it. Below is what to expect.
We pour in small batches, so occasionally a scent is briefly out of stock. If your order includes an item we need to pour, we will email you within one business day with a realistic ship date (usually 5–7 business days).
Every order ships in a recyclable kraft box, cushioned with shredded recycled paper and sealed with paper tape. There is no plastic anywhere in our packaging. The box itself is stamped, not printed, to save ink.
Return your empty vessel — clean and dry — and we will refill it for 25% off the retail price. You can drop it off at the studio during opening hours or mail it to us at 1251 76th Ave, Oakland, CA 94621. Include a note with your order number or email so we know who you are.
California sales tax is added at checkout for orders shipped within California. International customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes charged at the destination.
If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, write to admin@christinahermes.com within 14 days and we will replace it at no cost.
